US Announces Preliminary Findings of Anti dumping Investigation on Polytetrafluoroethylene Resin Against China

On May 1, 2018, Washington time, the United States Department of Commerce announced the preliminary findings of the anti-dumping investigation against China's polytetrafluoroethylene resin, ruling that the dumping margins of the two compulsory respondent enterprises were 69.34% and 84.75%, the dumping margins of the enterprises obtaining the respective tax rates were 78.74%, and the dumping margins of other Chinese enterprises were 208.16%. According to statistics from the US, in 2016, I exported 24.6 million US dollars of products involved in the case to the US. The product in question is mainly attributed to the US Customs tariff codes 3904.61.00103904.61.0090 and 3904.69.5000.
It is expected that the US Department of Commerce will make a final judgment on this case on September 12th, and the International Trade Commission will make a final judgment on damages on October 29th. If the final determination of the damage is affirmative, the US Department of Commerce will issue a tax order around November 5th.
